Freight forwarder DSV reported 1Q 2019 revenue growth of 8.7% year over year, driven by airfreight volume growth of 10.4% and seafreight which increased by 6.5%. The latter has been largely driven by shipping through the Americas, with U.S. seaborne imports having climbed 15.6% year over year. DSV has also seen an acceleration in growth to 26.4% in the month of March, underscoring the importance management attach to scale. That importance is also shown by the acquisition of Panalpina, which is scheduled to be completed in 3Q. Growth won’t always continue at current rates though....
