South Korean Chips May Be Second-Tier Victim in China-U.S. Trade Battle

South Korea’s Trade Minister, Paik Un-gyu, has indicated the U.S.-China tariff spat is “adding uncertainties” to the export economy. The short-term impact may be limited given tariffs are focused on intermediate rather than completed consumer goods, but that could change in a third round of duties on up to $200 billion of products.
